Desmond Elliot gives power transformers to his constituents in Surulere, Lagos (Photos)

Desmond Elliot, an actor and politician who is fighting for re-election on Saturday, March 18, in the Surulere Constituency of the Lagos State House of Assembly, has given transformers to his district.

The two-term incumbent Surulere lawmaker made the installation of high-capacity transformers in Surulere public on social media.

This will provide communities that have a long-standing demand for reliable electricity.

Somade Crescent, Main Street, Clegg Street, James Robertson, Akerele, Martins Street, and Tafawa Balewa are among the streets that will receive the transformers.

“I am pleased to announce the installation of new high-capacity transformers in Surulere, giving dependable electricity to areas that have long lacked it. The latest transformers consist of:

Somade Crescent; Methodist Church by Small London; 300Kva

Main Street between Barracks and Tejuosho; 500Kva

Clegg Street, Inside Fire Brigade, 500Kva

James Robertson Junction; 500Kva

Akerele by Havana Hospital; 500Kva

Martins Street; 500Kva

Oke-Ona/Ladele Dada/Alawode Transformer; 500Kva (Surulere 2)

Tafawa Balewa Crescent; 500Kva”.
