A man identified as Hillary Okechukwu, was dismissed from his job in Wazobia FM. The report reaching us is that the worker who got fired from work has died and his colleagues claim he committed suicide as a result of being fired from work.
Before his demise, he worked as a sales executive with Wazobia FM Lagos broadcasting firm until November 18th 2020 when he was asked to resign after being accused of misappropriation of funds.

His colleagues testified of Okechukwu being a worker in the broadcasting firm for over ten(10) years. Autopsy results shows he suffered cardiac arrest from drug overdose on Friday, November 20th 2020.
The deceased is survived by a wife and two young boys.
Media personalities have started sending in their tribute message to the deceased worker.

Sports journalist, Bolarinwa Olajide wrote:
“People are going through a lot, and sacking people unjustly is the last thing an employer should do in these times. A friend was sacked and took his life the following day. Do not test people’s mental health. Nigeria is hard enough. RIP Hilary O.”
Someone also tweeted:
“This year couldn’t get any worse. Hillary was like a brother to me. God please why!!!!!!“
