Facebook and Instagram could loose majority of users, as Nigeria is the biggest user of their service in Africa.
Amidst the #Endsars protests, posts, photos and videos of Lagos Lekki Toll Gate massacre was flagged as false information. This generated reactions from Nigerians who went to Twitter to complain of their dissatisfaction with Facebook and Instagram. In a critical time like this the giant network didn't show any support but flagged their posts as false.
Many Nigerians have accused Mark Zuckerberg of working with the Nigerian Government to conceal the truth on what's really happening.

Yesterday, Facebook founder has come out to apologize for what happened, he said it was a glitch from their system, their software mistook the #Endsars as Sars virus and flagged down posts as false information, but everything has been rectified. He apologized for letting the community down at a point of need.
