Third Mainland Bridge to be shut down for six months (FG)

Federal Government reveal date to shut down third

mainland bridge in Lagos State. 

 

The Federal controller of works in Lagos State "Mr

Olukayode Popoola" reveals to news men today

July 6. 

 

He said : 

"Consultation are currently ongoing for another

phase of works on the 11km third mainland bridge. 

He further said that the repair woulf start on the

outward section of the bridge and that the ministry is

already working with relevant agencies to ensure free

traffic flow during the time of the repair. 

 

According to popoola, the bridge will be shutdown for

six months beginning from July 24 2020.
